The Farm: Part 2

Last summer I deleted the material in this blog as the person whom I had quoted at length was distressed by it, feeling that I had transgressed on her privacy. In my interviews with people I had made it clear that I intended to write about the things that we discussed but seeing issues in a published form can be difficult nonetheless. I have apologized to her and do so to any other interviewees whom I may have injured by my writing.

    Thanks to this woman for her insightful, compassionate, and credible witness. I knew her and respect her. So glad she got out without being destroyed and with her vision clear.

    I too know this woman and she was one of the best people I have ever met. We worked together, laughed together and I only wish I had known what she was going through, I would love to have talked with her about it, or helped her more with her chores.
    I too am glad she got out from under "it"...without a doubt it was all consuming.
    Very brave of her to speak out!
